  My friend was overcharged in fees to the tune of 1/3rd of her total account value for "mananging" her money in investments she did not approve of. She was so upset about this, she cashed out of the investments and created a 100% cash balance with Springer Financial after being told there would be no management fees for a cash account. After all, what the hell would they be managing? Not only did she get charged the SAME excessive fees as previously charged, she spoke directly with Keith about reversing these charges for a cash account and he flat out said NO. Even if someone in his firm said no fees for a cash account, he said he could not reverse and will not. My friend is losing a 1/3rd of her retirement savings here and have to work longer because of this crook. Who the hell does this and calls themselves a financial fudiciary??? For me this was timely as I have plans to set up a long standing relationship with a financial advisor as I approach my retirement phase and I now know who to avoid. I am sharing this so that anyone else seeking to do the same should dig deep and wide before considering this firm or Keith. Fortunately there is quite a list of resources to easily find the good and the bad. Finally, my friend will be filing against this company with the SEC and BBB. I am sure more than that, but this guy should be banned from the industry so that he does not do this to other innocent, wonderful people busting their tails to make a comfortable retirement for themselves.
