  This is the worst check cashing its hot as hell in the lobby area always. The wait is always long and gpd forbid you need to cash a check for over a grand .... if the management cant be contacted you are NOT gonna get your check cashed and u will not get any apologies for the inconvenience. Bad customer service all around

  I went to an Ace Cash Express on Norwood, (sacramento, ca) needed to send money internationally to a relative. I gave $3,050 to the cashier in an envelope and asked her how much it would cost me to send $3,050 oversea. The cashier told me it would be $61. I had only $60...I asked if I can pay the $1 with my debt card and she told me I would need to withdraw money...I can't pay with a debt card...WHAT! ???. So, I left my money with the cashier and went out to get a dollar from my husband and came right back. When I got back, we started the transaction. The cashier counted the money in the envolope that I had handed to her earlier...when she counted it...it was $2,850!!!. I was like there should be $3,050 in the envolope. Before I came to ACE , I triple counted the money to much sure I had $3,050. I was SHOCKED when she counted the money and said there was only $2,850. I said what happened to the $200???. I was pissed, angery, and felt cheated. I asked for the district manager info, because the store manger was not able to help me resolve my situation. So, I called the DM and told him what happened. After talking with him I have little hope of getting my $200 back. He told me he would look into it the next morning, and will call me back. Seems like I will be loosing out on $200. I will not be using their service again ever. I will not refer any of my families or friends.

  I've used this check cashing for a while now and has never been treated more kindly! When I lost my I'd I went to serveral places I'd used in the past to cash my check but no one would cash it without I'd, even though I was in their system, drove to Ace check cashing and Wala! The lookede up in their computers for verification and cashed my check! I was in and out in less then five minutes. That was a few years ago and the service has remained friendly and polite. I love the place!
