- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★So I've been thinking about this alot and it's so crazy how many mommies don't take advantage of wic because they don't know about it or don't think they will qualify..even if you don't want to receive wic you should go to visit their lacticionists it's completely free and they are so amazing!I had a really hard time nursing my daughter for the first 4 months because she had a type 3~4 posterior tongue tie. My lactuonis through wic noticed it emediatly,but it took me visiting 4 different doctors at my daughters doctors office to fix it finally the main Doctor took care of it and explained that it was preventing the middle and back part of her toung from fully compressing my nipple to get milk out.but while I was battling to get it fixed I went once a week to go see Blanka she really helped me emotionally and was my cheer leader, my angel, and my voice of reason. you have no idea how many times I would go in other her office weigh my baby and sob...but she helped me through it.she is a big part of the reason why me and my baby girl have.made it to 7 months♡♡♡so if your having any sort of trouble at all or just need the extra support to help you to keep going I strongly suggest going to check wic out:3By Kristine, March 28, 2017
