    “Surprising find -- well worth a visit” We stopped by on a Sunday morning thinking this would be a "filler" of something to do before we headed home and were startled with the interesting and informative tour conducted by a young man.     Beautiful building the tour is free and very worthwhile. The tour covered art architecture and history. You're told no photographs are allowed on the tour. Our tour was led by very knowledgeable volunteer. Parking is not great in downtown Sacramento you may have to walk aways to get to the museum this may be a problem depending on your Mobility.

    Went with group of art students from Sacramento State University. The tour was very educational. Many of the modern art pieces display political and historical references to current events. Beautiful art work.

    This is one of Sacramento's hidden gems and it's FREE!!! Here you will see all manner of fine art. Everything from paintings, drawings, sculpture and lavish arcetectual room designs. The tour guides clearly love their jobs and unlike alot of other tours they are very happy to answer all questions. The tours usually start at the top of every hour. Considering how much visuals and interesting history you get, a tour like this would normally cost 20$ plus but it's totally FREE!!! Do miss this opportunity.
